Strada has opened up their terrace in the back for the warmer summer days, it is shaded and smoking is permited on the terrace.
Location: First right on Rainbow Street - 15 Mohammad Rashid Rihda Street.

Second Cup:
Second Cup is often filled with students studying, the upstairs gets very smokey and stuffy if its full, but the downstairs small area is quiet and perfect to get some work done or study quietly.
Location: Abdoun/Deir Ghabar Area - Queen Zain Al Sharaf Street. Close to American Embassy.

Books @ Caf now has 2 locations, one in Abdoun & one on Omar Bin Al Khatab Street off Rainbow Street. Both ideal locations to work or have a meeting. The Abdoun branch is fairly new with great food, coffee and comfortable atmosphere, although it could get pretty busy in the morning and during lunch hours.

Java U is a Canadian branch that started off in Montreal, as a caf for students to do some work and study in between classes, the Amman branches are quite different. Its more of a hang out and it gets pretty busy in the evening. In the early hours of the day it can be nice and quiet for getting work done, grabbing a bite and coffee.
Oddly enough, Java U serves argeeleh, so if you are bothered by the smell this wouldnt be the ideal place to go study or work.
